Dons midfield general Stephen Gleeson is desperate for victory at Queens Park Rangers tonight because he believes they should have won the original FA Cup with Budweiser Third Round contest.
MK Dons were a minute from reaching the Fourth Round, where a home tie against Chelsea awaits, only for Heidar Helguson to bag a late equaliser to cancel out Dean Bowditch's opening strike and force at rematch at Loftus Road.
The style in which the Dons dominated that fixture at stadiummk impressed neutrals up and down the country and will also act as a confidence booster heading into tonight's game, which kicks off at 8pm and is live on ITV4.
Karl Robinson's men from MK will be backed by almost 2,000 fans at Loftus Road and Irish midfielder Gleeson, who along with Darren Potter helped control the first game, is keen to be on the end of the right result.
He said: "I thought we matched a Premier League team, if anything we outplayed them for large periods of the game and I really felt we should have won which was disappointing but we will head to QPR and hopefully give them another good game.
"When the goal went in it took a lot out of us because we had put in so much effort. I thought we didn't get what we deserved, but these things happen in football and it is important that we pull back together."
Tickets are available on the night at Loftus Road. The game is live on ITV4 and live commentary is available with MK Dons Player.
